International students who plan to attend in-person will need to submit financial certification documents as part of the I-20 process.
A limited number of scholarships are available to applicants with demonstrated financial need.
While completing the online application, once you indicate your intention to apply for financial aid, a link to the financial aid application will appear. Complete this portion of the application and upload a copy of your family’s current 1040 tax form or other appropriate documents, along with other requested materials, such as W-2’s.
Your financial aid award, if any, will be included in your decision letter.
Award amounts are determined by many variables, including family finances and availability of funds. Not all financial aid applicants may be eligible for or receive a scholarship. Engineering Innovation staff cannot predict how much aid a student may be offered.
Eligibility is based on current funds available for scholarships and the financial status of the applicant.
Engineering Innovation is a financially self-sustaining program of the Johns Hopkins University (JHU) Whiting School of Engineering (WSE). Thanks to the support of our sponsors, we can offer limited, need-based, financial assistance. Neither JHU nor WSE underwrite any program costs.
